Next month will see the return of one of the shoes of 2017, as the highly-anticipated ADIDAS NMD CITY SOCK ‘GUM PACK’ drops this February.

What does the ‘Gum Pack’ bring to the City Sock party? As the name implies, a classic gum outsole has been added to the silhouette, sitting underneath the full-length BOOST midsole unit. The City Sock (or CS1 as it’s also known) is a lifestyle model that employs the technology typically found in adidas’ running models on a unique, distinctive-looking sock-like midtop with a wool-blended Primeknit upper, making it very suitable for the colder weather. The seamless one-piece construction sits on top the crisp white midsole and ‘The Brand With The Three Stripes’ branding can be found on the heel tab and in different languages. You will have your choice of a black or white colourway to chose from. Which will you try and cop? You’ll come up trumps whichever colour you choose; the City Sock is an unusual but comfortable piece of footwear that gets the all important seal of approval from the lads at The Drop Date.
