adidas SPEZIAL FW16 Footwear – A First Look

Following on from the apparel range, we get a tantalising glimpse of the upcoming ADIDAS SPEZIAL FW16 FOOTWEAR COLLECTION.

Since 2014 the adidas SPEZIAL project has been treating connoisseurs to an array of rare and iconic models from the Three Stripes archives, updated and reworked with premium materials for the modern day. This season is no exception: expect a selection of transformed classics such as the Indoor Super SPZL, GT Manchester SPZL and Harwood SPZL alongside a fully blacked-out version of the Mounfield SPZL in winter-ready waterproof nubuck and leather. The Hawaii sole and a Freizeit-inspired upper are combined in a new hybrid model, the Bulhill SPZL, while later in the year the beloved Samba will also make a comeback in updated SPEZIAL form. Once again, Gary Aspden and the SPEZIAL team successfully combine a collector’s keen eye with the forward-thinking approach that has seen adidas stepping up its game so well in recent years.
