New Year, New Boost: the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 returns on New Year’s Day

Get your Christmas money ready, because the ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST 3.0 is back in several new colourways. It seems that adidas’ New Year’s resolution is to carry on their Boost-based takeover of Planet Earth, and they’re off to a great start with this re-up of the ultra-comfortable, ultra-popular Ultra Boost 3.0.

After the more subdued December drop of white, black and navy colourways, things will get a little fruitier for New Year. First up we have two new colourways each for men and women, coming in mixed shades of blue and red. For men, the red version comes in COLLEGIATE BURGUNDY/MYSTERY RED and the blue version in CORE BLUE/MYSTERY BLUE – and while the names make them sound like Scooby Doo episodes about an art thief disguised as a ghost, in reality what you get is a richly coloured, subtly speckled upper with tonal heel cup and lacing system offset by a bright white Boost midsole. The women’s colourways are similar: a MYSTERY BLUE/VAPOUR GREY METALLIC combo adds a silvery heel cup into the mix, while the MYSTERY RED/TACTILE PINK version sounds like a niche-interest top-shelf product but is actually a vibrant red banger that wouldn’t look out of place in Wonder Woman’s trainer rotation.

These new releases hit all the right notes: bold but very wearable, they’re the perfect way to brighten up your wardrobe for the New Year.
