When the AIR JORDAN 10 originally released, the man behind the Jumpman had retired from basketball to compete in baseball, which is the reasoning behind the list of some of his biggest achievements on the underside of the sole. In 1995 the brand took the story telling concept a step further by releasing the City Series Pack and over two decades later the concept returns with the NEW YORK release. The upper is dominated by matte Black leather, with small Gold accents on the NYC branding and the heel-tab breaking up the monotony. The Black continues on to the midsole, whilst a translucent outsole with gold speckles captures the traditional list of achievements.
