NIKE SF AF-1 Returns in Two New Colourways for the Ladeez

2017-01-13T16:24:40

The military, workwear-inspired NIKE SF AF-1 – AKA the Nike Special Field Air Force 1 – will continue to roll out new colourways in 2o17, including two new styles for women.

Women will have their choice of Wheat (looks more like a caramel to us) and Binary Blue – both fully tonal colourways that sit on a black outsole. Black is also visible in the additional detailing, namely the lace holes and strap buckles. Created by Nike Sportswear designer Ben Kirschner, who was also the creative force behind the Jordan Future and Nike Zoom Cabos, the the SF-AF1 aesthetic was inspired by military gear, thus utilises durable and robust materials such as ballistic nylon, combined with tough leather details, and of course the signature ankle straps – which feature identical straps instead of two sets of different straps that were seen on the previous releases. Overall, it’s a fantastic re-imagining of the Air Force 1 – Bruce Kilgore’s iconic retro basketball model – and is perfect for the cold weather season.

These will sell out fast, so be advised: The Wheat and Binary Blue colourways of the NIKE SF AF-1 will drop on THURSDAY 19 JANUARY: keep checking back with us for the full details. In the meantime, you can check out the current selection of Nike Sportswear footwear by clicking the banner below.
