The Porsche x adidas Ultra Boost ‘Triple Black’ Unites Passions for Sports and Lifestyle

New pictures of the PORSCHE X ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST ‘TRIPLE BLACK’ confirm that the two German powerhouses are collaborating on footwear once again.

The silhouette appears to be a carbon copy of the all white version The Drop Date wrote about last year. This time, the shoe is dressed head to toe in black with ‘PORSCHE DESIGN’ written on the heel cup and a ‘PORSCHE DESIGN SPORT’ label on the tongue. The lightweight Primeknit upper sits under a matching black moulded overlay, although the result is a little less Primeknit on display than Ultra Boost aficionados will be familiar with, as the overlay is fairly dominant. Perhaps that’s unsurprising given that it’s the handiwork of the designers from the luxury auto manufacturer. Meanwhile, down below we have a matching black midsole and outsole combination. The result is a combination of the sleek style of Porsche Design, which mirrors the high performance luxury vehicles the brand is know for, with adidas’ innovative Boost technology and forward-looking silhouette. The two German brands partner quite frequently in footwear and apparel, sharing their passion for sports, sporty lifestyles, high quality standards and their positions in the worlds of innovation and design.
