REEBOK CLASSIC LUXURY TEXTILE

As we get stuck into the 30th Anniversary celebrations and bask in the resurgence of their Classics range, we are treated to the REEBOK CLASSIC LUXURY TEXTILE. With its monochrome upper and Dupont Teflon treatment, to give it the water resistance our current climate requires, the shoe has the ability to break necks, whilst brushing off the unpredictable weather.

This is a really solid shoe, and sits well alongside the other Classics offerings, all having helped the brand to one of it’s healthiest positions in the lifestyle trainer market for a number of years. The Textile Pack has three colourways to choose from, including Red, Black and the Royal Blue make-ups featured.

The canvas upper is a grade that gives it strength, whilst feeling soft enough on the foot, with the towelling lining adding to the overall comfort. The Teflon coating – yep, that of frying pan fame, acts as a membrane over the canvas, which allows water to run off, and also greatly reduces scuff and stain marks, immediately elevating them to honoury pub shoe status.

The branding is subtle, which for a silhouette that’s instantly recognisable, is always a good look. The tonal laces finish off the stealth look (you get a white set too), and the white midsole sets the shoe off whilst bridging the gap between the canvas and the rubber outsole, which we have to admit, should’ve been gum like the excellent Vintage Pack, but the black still works ok.

Available now, the release information for the REEBOK CLASSIC LUXURY TEXTILE in the trademark Royal Blue colourway, can be found via the click-through below.
