Earlier, the first images of Alexis Sablone next projects popped up. She teased it on her Instagram, giving a glimpse of her work with Nike, using the Nike Dunk Low SB and a sneak peek of her Converse AS-1 Pro signature model in a brand new colourway.

Now, in May 2024, Nike and Converse are showing off the collection designed by Alexis Sablone for the American and Japanese teams. The collection, including kits and footwear, will drop in summer 2024.

It never crossed my mind that I’d get to design federation kits. Then again, there was a point when I didn’t even think skate would be an Olympic sport,” says Alexis to Nike. “When I got the call to design the kits, I had a gut instinct that told me, Of course. I’m a designer and a skater, and I competed in the Olympics. Why not? Who gets a chance to do that?’

The Nike SB 2024 Federation Kits and clothing items will be released on 18TH JULY 2024 at NIKE & SELECT RETAILERS. The two sneakers, the Converse CONS AS-1 Pro and Nike SB Dunk Low, will drop on 22ND AUGUST 2024 in an exclusive twin pack featuring both silhouettes.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE 10/04/24: Skateboarding sensation Alexis Sablone just dropped some exciting news! Taking to her Instagram, she gave us a sneak peek at her latest project with the Swoosh, the Nike Dunk Low SB. But wait, it doesn’t stop there, as she also teased a fresh colour combo for her Converse AS-1 Pro signature kicks.

You probably know Alexis for her killer style and insane tricks, but did you know that she’s also an architect with a degree from MIT? With a unique skill of blending skateboarding with design, it’s no surprise that she’s teaming up with Nike after her success in 2023 with her own signature Converse sneaker.

Now, she’s kicking it up a notch with Nike, dropping her design for the Nike SB Dunk Low. The upper is a real head-turner, with funky green overlays that shift to purple as you break them in. Additionally, the iconic Swoosh adopts a bold design, boasting an interesting textural finish. Made complete with a neutral midsole and the green outsole, these kicks aren’t for the faint-hearted.

If you’re into something a little more low-key, check out Sablone’s Converse AS-1 Pro, expressing a clean white upper with subtle pops of purple and a classic gum-coloured sole.

If you’re anything like us, you’ll be eager to know when these offerings will hit the shelves as well as a deeper insight to the design inspiration. But for now, keep glued to The Drop Date’s News Page for further updates.
