The ADIDAS CONSORTIUM LA TRAINER OG MADE IN GERMANY is set to drop at top-tier retailers worldwide in the classic original colourway and construction. Originally released in 1984, the LA Trainer was the last of adidas’ city-themed footwear series and one of the final styles to be produced in Germany before manufacturing was moved overseas. Fast forward to 2016 and adidas have gone back to their roots for this Consortium re-release, painstakingly made in Germany to the same specifications as the original. The upper comes in a mix of black suede and Stockmayer mesh, a German technical fabric used on the 1984 original.
