ADIDAS Y-3 SS19 > AN ESSAY IN CONTROLLED PROPORTION

ADIDAS Y-3 SS19 has just debuted in Paris.

Born out of a fusion of YOHJI YAMAMOTO’S obsession with the ‘air between the body’ and ADIDAS’ devotion to movement by engineering apparel and footwear for the human form, Y-3’s latest collection pushes the limits of innovation to achieve a range of clothing that appears almost weightless.

Using progressive fabrics including GORETEX (the range uses SHAKEDRY, the lightest GORETEX product in the world), light Nylon and tech cotton, pieces are reversible, packable and above all, lightweight. Using Yohji’s expertise in pattern cutting and garment development the range seeks to find solutions to the everyday challenges of modern living.
