The CONVERSE ESSENTIALS X FRAGMENT CAPSULE COLLECTION marks the beginning of the brand’s excellent new apparel programme.

Like the rest of the collection, this limited edition capsule consists of classic pieces specifically designed to get better and better with every wear. Legendary Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara – founder of Fragment Design, pioneer of Nike’s top notch HTM line and original member of the International Stussy Tribe – has tested this idea by putting the collaborative garments through the equivalent of 12 years of pre-washing. The resulting t-shirt and crewneck sweat have a vintage look with their faded black pigment dye, but the cut and construction are right up to date. Fragment Design’s eye for detail is evident in the multiple logo hits at chest and sleeve, while the flat seam construction ensures that these garments feel as good as they look.
