O32c SS18 GETS POST MODERN, POST REFERENTIAL AND POST IRONIC

O32c SS18 is the first full collection of clothing from the intelligently inclusive German magazine.

If you’ve not heard of 032c (the name is the Pantone colour reference of the red that dominates every cover) then it’s highly advisable that you google them as soon as possible. Started in Berlin nearly 15 years ago, the magazine sought to offer an intelligent option to contrast to the glossy high aesthetic fashion magazines and esoteric culture periodicals that were so prevalent at the time. Rejecting traditional notions of beauty and offering a hi brow take on popular culture the magazine broke the mould and created something that was subtly beautiful and intellectually accessible. Now 15 years on, the format has been replicated many times and the mag gets name checked by everyone from Frank Ocean to the Hadid sisters. Several years ago they started producing small lines of merchandise including tee’s, caps badges and more, all featuring the magazines bold branding and sold through their own web portal. Now for the first time, 032c have created an entire collection that reflects and broadcasts their views on the state of popular culture, fashion and life.

Never ones to shy away from the unusual they have put together a collection featuring concentrated elements of streetwear, workwear and high fashion that is an undiluted embodiment of the magazines values. Weird, playful and at all times honest, the varied collection points to 032c being as good at clothes as they are at publishing.
