The POLO RALPH LAUREN SNOW BEACH REISSUE COLLECTION is available now

The POLO RALPH LAUREN SNOW BEACH REISSUE COLLECTION brings back the legendary ’90s cold weather gear and NYC hip-hop icon in all its original glory, and it’s available now.

The Snow Beach collection was originally released back in 1993, just in time for the golden era of New York hip-hop (‘Enter the Wu-Tang’ was released that same year). Rap music and ski gear might have seemed like odd bedfellows, but once Wu-Tang heavy hitter Raekwon wore the jacket in the ‘Can It Be All So Simple’ video, the bold lettering and vibrant red, yellow and blue colourway were cemented in the hip-hop apparel hall of fame.

Fast forward to 2018, and the 25th anniversary reissue collection is set to bring back those glory days. The throwback collection is formed of two separate ranges which drop on different dates. The first set is a faithful reinterpretation of the original range, featuring the famous HALF ZIP SMOCK JACKET alongside rugby tops, waist bags, hats, shoes and backpacks. The second range ditches the familiar colours in favour of a monochromatic treatment, with blacked-out versions of the beloved silhouettes embellished with bright white branding to create a very different – but no less impactful – version of the iconic originals.
