RAF SIMONS X FRED PERRY SS18: THE RESPECT IS MUTUAL

RAF SIMONS X FRED PERRY SS18 has dropped online.

Continuing their longstanding relationship, RAF & Fred Perry have released their latest collection and it’s equal parts modern and nostalgic. Most collaborations are a one-time-only affair, not so when it comes to these two pillars of menswear society. It’s hard to remember exactly when they started but they’re well into their teens if you think about it in terms of collections, one of the reasons of their ongoing success together is the consistency from one offering to the other. Paired down fits in classic styles, dashed with interesting colours and detail, this range is no different. The classic Fred Perry polo is elevated with bold colour blocking and an interesting addition of what looks like rubber taping on the collar, this tape detailing is carried across to two minimal hoods and tees and ties the range together nicely. There’s a sharply cut pair of trousers and a slew of long sleeve crews to round things off and a very nice work jacket to add some substance. Strong work from both parties indeed.
