Rambo rave: the WTAPS SS17 COLLECTION mixes ’90s neons with rugged military style

The WTAPS SS17 COLLECTION is here, and taking style #inspo from Rambo has never looked so good.

WTAPS is one of those incredible Japanese brands where those who know it swear by it, and those who don’t yet know it get hooked as soon as they encounter it. Each season the label manages to combine rugged military garb with Japanese sophistication to produce highly-detailed, beautifully-constructed garms that make you look like you know how to start a fire using two twigs and a stone but are also probably a menswear influencer. For Spring/Summer 2017 it’s business as usual, with a versatile range of outerwear, sweats, tees, shirts, cargo pants, and the brand’s famous heavyweight ‘Hellweek’ hoodies. There’s plaid, tiger camo and utilitarian graphics galore, and for this season WTAPS have also introduced a selection of pieces in neon yellow and orange to spice up the colour palette with an unexpected nod to ’90s rave style.
