A Closer Look at the Nike x A-COLD-WALL* Air Force 1 Low Pack

The NIKE X A-COLD-WALL* AIR FORCE 1 LOW is back on our radars for a closer look, ready for the release later this season.

Following on from 2017’s Air Force 1 High release, A-COLD-WALL*’s Samuel Ross has gone back to the Air Force catalogue once again and selected the classic Low cut edition for this latest collaboration. Rumoured to be constructed in Nike‘s new Flyleather material, the uppers here have a strong ecologically-conscious edge to them, combining regular leather with recycled leather. Whilst the silhouette appears to be stripped-down in some ways, the overall styling maintains the unique A-C-W technical aesthetic from toe to heel. Perforated Swooshes keep the lateral and medial sides looking clean, with bold, contrasting ACW branding displayed on the tongue, toebox, lace locks and insoles. The unique twin-eyelet lacing system is carried over from last year’s AF1 High collaboration, whilst tonal midsoles are finished off with complimentary rubber outsoles – a staple element of the classic Air Force 1 design. Two colourways have been lined-up so far: Black/Dark Grey and White/Light Grey.
