It’s All White With Us: The ACRONYM X Nike Lunar Force 1 Returns This Winter

After making a quick appearance at ComplexCon the other week, the ACRONYM x NIKE LUNAR FORCE 1 is returning to the streets in a new clean colourway.

Zips on shoes have always been a subject of debate: if you’re going to use zipper fastenings, then confidence seems to be the key. Big zips, that are functional and unapologetic give the best results, and Errolson Hugh and the Acronym team know this. On this Lunar Force 1, the YKK zip dominates the upper section of the shoe, allowing you to open the shoe up for easy access. This latest edition of the head-turning masterpiece ditches the bi-coloured midsole and other striking details and opts for a clean and simple triple white scheme that looks appropriately festive. The almost half-finished aesthetic on the upper section might have been an acquired taste back in 2013 when the model first dropped, but perhaps the consumers have finally caught up to Errolson’s way of thinking. We expect these to fly out when they drop shortly.
