A footwear staple of the early 2000s, adidas add a blast of nostalgia to their release schedule this month with a pack that contains both the original ‘02 and a new take on the training model. Updated and deconstructed for 2017, the rehashed edition uses ClimaCool mesh as its base but tweaks the shape to align with sleeker modern day cuts, balancing somewhere between the Iniki Runner and new EQT models.

Taking on a modernised bootie cut upper constructed from the brand’s instantly recognisable climacool® mesh, the updated icon offers a snug and breathable fit, which is paired with an EVA midsole for a fresh and comfortable look and feel. TPU plug details call back to the design of the original Climacool II, with the line’s oval branding taking to the tongue.
