From Pavement to Peak, the adidas Consortium TERREX Free Hiker is an All-Terrain Beast

The new ADIDAS CONSORTIUM TERREX FREE HIKER introduces us to the concept of free hiking: the journey from concrete to crevasse, taking you off the streets and out into the wilds of the great outdoors.

adidas TERREX is the outdoors division of adidas, matching lightweight construction with unrivalled comfort resulting in true all-terrain designs. The sock-like uppers hold your foot for an adaptive feel whilst the Torsion bar underneath provides a stable foundation, offering natural flex of the midsole and foot. This new Consortium-level release brings the Free Hiker design to a more discerning audience, with a subtle-but-appropriate colour palette and smart detailing which elevates the shoe above your usual off-road offerings. Light brown uppers are offset with black and red detailing, all sat on top of a BOOST-cushioned midsole and durable Continental rubber outsole. The Primeknit uppers have been given a water-repellant treatment as well, meaning that the shoe performs just as good as it looks.
