adidas Consortium launches their new Communitas project for 2019, which celebrates creative partners, retailers and collectives that exemplify fearless collaboration. Set to run across the entirety of 2019 with four drops throughout the year, it is Copenhagen female-focused retailer NAKED who kick off proceedings by creating a brand new model, the Magmur Runner. The model channels both NAKED’s brand DNA and current trends with a model that harks back to the ‘90s era of high-performance runners, dominated by adidas. The team poured over running and basketball models from the archives to come up with the design, which works technical mesh and leather uppers resting on a chunky Adiprene cushioned midsole, served up in an off-white colourway which will see a global release, with an EQT-esque dark green and navy option remaining as an in-store exclusive to NAKED.
