The ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X OFF THE HOOK TUBULAR MOC RUNNER is inspired by the Voyageurs: French Canadian tradesmen of the 18th and early 19th centuries.

The Voyageurs earned their name from countless travels by foot and canoe between far-flung Native American communities and trading posts. They adopted many style cues from their indigenous counterparts and it is that which has inspired this release. The aesthetic inspiration came naturally for this collaboration as German roots also run deep within Voyageur history, so it’s a part of history where both the brands intersect. The look of the shoe essentially embodies the essence of a modern-day Voyageur with a mix of layers and fabrics, which include a smooth premium black leather on the toe box, light grey wool on the split tongue and ankle collar and cream suede overlays. The moccasin-style stitching gives the shoe a very classic look, which is contrasted slightly by the modern style sole, but with its clean white finish, it remains relatively discreet and allows the upper to hold your attention. Final details include the OTH logo on the heel and custom printed insoles with a frozen lake print, as a nod to the many treacherous lake crossings during winter expeditions. We have seen some great colourways on the model, but these are off the hook!
