The ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X SHELFLIFE ZX4000 sees the South African retailer breathe new life into the late ’80s silhouette.
The ZX4000 from 1989 recently made a return around its 30th anniversary, proving popular with adidas fans worldwide. Staying true to the OG with a close construction, the model retains retro trefoil branding on the heel cup and a Torsion-equipped sole unit. Adding to the ZX4000 iterations, adidas have partnered with South African retailer Shelflife, blending the retro model with modern ideas and patterns. The upper features a woven fabrication on the underlying panels, paired with luxe nubuck overlays in a tonal shade and bold jacquard patterns on the medial side. Orange toggle lace tips and subtle branding on the tongue add a further dose of detail, rounding off another interesting collaboration from the Consortium series
The ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X SHELFLIFE ZX4000 is set to drop on SATURDAY 20 APRIL: hit the banner below for stockist information.
