Ninja Approved: adidas Consortium x The Good Will Out NMD CS1 PK

The ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X THE GOOD WILL OUT NMD CS1 PK shows it isn’t afraid of the dark with this Shinobi Ninja inspired take on the City Sock silhouette…

For their next collaboration, adidas Consortium team up with one of the finest sneaker stores Europe has to offer, The Good Will Out. Established in Cologne back in 2007, TGWO has put their hand to a fair share of popular silhouettes, but their efforts on the CS1 PK cuts through the crowd. A blacked out take on the NMD line’s sock-fit silhouette, it draws influence from black cloaked ninjas of Japan, the Shinobi. Known to be able to see in complete darkness, or “Ankoku Toshi Jutsu”, they trained themselves to “see” with their other senses. The CS1 gives a nod to their unreal talents with a laceless all-black Primeknit upper constructed from three subtly-differing patterns. Branded details include heel loop tape with the text “THE ART OF SEEING THROUGH DARKNESS” and “THE GOOD WILL OUT” in English and Japanese, plus dual-branded leather insoles. The silhouette is given a striking finish with its trademark Boost midsole finished with a ripple-effect outsole, offering traction, support, and most of all – effortless style.
