For this latest adidas Consortium collaboration, The Good Will Out have applied a stealthy blacked-out aesthetic to the City Sock, with a clever theme that works perfectly on this modern silhouette. Surveying the pitch black nights in complete darkness, black cloaked ninjas of Japan – also known as the Shinobi – trained themselves to ‘see’ with their other senses. The design of this special CS1 brings the idea of perception and consciousness with an all-black Primeknit upper which features three subtly-differing patterns. Make no mistake about it, this is a premium piece of footwear with tasteful detailing throughout. The heel loop tape features the text ‘THE ART OF SEEING THROUGH DARKNESS’ and ‘THE GOOD WILL OUT’ in both English and Japanese, and unique dual-branded leather insoles offer comfort and a feeling of luxury.
