Re-up on a Classic: the adidas Gazelle OG Returns this September

The ADIDAS GAZELLE OG is set to make a strong return shortly, bringing back one of the most influential and important designs in footwear history.

The success of the Gazelle is in part due to it being one of the defining shoes of its era. Many of us can remember skateboarding in the Gazelle: adopted by many skaters in the early ’90s due to the lightweight uppers and flexible sole unit. The original design first debuted way back in 1966, with the 1991 release setting the standard for all subsequent editions. This new version of the Gazelle is a little more streamlined compared to the 2000s shape, resulting in a look that’s more akin to the original blueprint. The Gazelle will always be a strong shoe in any colour, but these two colourways – Clear Pink and Core Black – are just about as good as it gets.
