Drawing inspiration from its original two fluorescent colourways in 1979, the Nite Jogger returns in his head-turning colourway. The original model was adidas’ first attempt at hi-vis technology, aimed to allow runners to run in low light without the risk of going unseen. The new iteration is layered with durable nylon ripstop, ideal to endure the conditions, but still promoting comfort and support with a mesh and suede overlay. Blending the colours seen in the original ’70s palettes, the new option features a primary upper of fluorescent yellow and red – taking cues from the uniforms of builders, emergency services workers and school crossing guards – with strategically placed 3M hits on the laces, 3-stripes, heel patch, and overlays.
