The ADIDAS ORIGINALS 84 LAB KAZUKI COLLECTION FW14 continues the great series led by streetwear and design supremo, Kazuki Kuraishi. Featuring both footwear and apparel, the new collection is another successful mix of remixed archival pieces and left-field design concepts. With this season, Retrograde Resistance 84-Lab, he keeps up the phenomenal attention to detail, sophisticated construction techniques and prowess for mixing lifestyle and sports technology together. ‘Premium’ is the appropriate word to use when describing this series.

On the footwear front, as well as Kazuki’s efforts on the excellent ZXZ930, we also see Mark McNairy’s involvement in the form of the MCN Monte Carlo Mid 84-Lab, MCN Stan Smith Mid 84-Lab and MCN Monte Carlo Lo 84-Lab, and further collaborations featuring renowned UK artist Ryan Gander on the controversial ZX750 Ryan Gander Mud 84-Lab and sketch-styled ZX750 Ryan Gander Pencil 84-Lab. It’s not your everyday footwear series – and that’s a good thing.

The apparel collection is as strong as previous seasons too, with plenty to get excited about. Technical jackets and outdoor pieces get the full taped-and-layered treatment, guaranteeing to keep you dry as autumn kicks in. The whole selection is smart and considered – streetwear for grown-ups.
