ADIDAS ORIGINALS BY NEIGHBORHOOD sees the two powerhouses join forces yet again – and, as you’d expect, the results are very impressive. The history of the collaborations between these two brands is well-documented: there’s a full decade of history here, starting with the 35th Anniversary Superstars that have remained one of the most desirable pairs of footwear ever. The partnership has grown from there, with Neighborhood founder Shinsuke Takizawa’s cousin Kazuki Kuraishi joining in to help work his magic. It’s a long-term relationship based on mutual respect for product, innovation and reputation. The attention to detail and craftsmanship remains a source of inspiration for many.

The apparel is as premium as you’d hope, fusing casual and contemporary with traditional tailoring and construction. With a traditional look, featuring style elements that borrow from Wild West and Native American history. Most importantly, the footwear is again phenomenal. To start with, there’s an amazing ADIDAS SUPERSTAR 80S NBHD (in two colourways) which features premium suede uppers, a leather lining and the Three Stripes branding rendered in Navajo-inspired glass beading. Next up, there’s the ADIDAS BRUSSEL MOC NBHD with a strong Native theme: hairy suede, beads and beautiful moccasin styling make this an essential pick-up. The ADIDAS LACE UP BOOT NBHD is next, and is inspired by the classic American officer boot, with a stylish a perforated toe cap. The ADIDAS NEW YORK NBHD is constructed from suede and nubuck and comes in auburn and grey colourways, inspired by American classic brogues. To round off this set, the ADIDAS COUNTRY OG NBHD takes dual inspiration from both the classic American brogue and the iconic adidas Country running silhouette.
