The new adidas Originals Prophere might have only been with us for a few weeks, but it’s made its mark quickly. Designed as a lifestyle silhouette that pays homage to the streetwear scene and the creatives who work within, the boldly sculpted midsole is perhaps the most eye-catching part of the design, with its dynamic texture and sculpted sidewall. The nubuck 3-Stripe branding is cleverly integrated into the sides to work as a lacing system, with a leather heel cage on the back to hold the foot securely in place. The one-piece soft knit upper follows the clean construction style we’ve grown to love on previous models, with minimal seams and stitching throughout. The Prophere has hit the ground running in 2018, so we’re expecting to see a lot more from this bold new addition to the Originals line-up.
