ADIDAS ORIGINALS SUPERSTAR – #ORIGINALSUPERSTAR FILM

The ADIDAS ORIGINALS SUPERSTAR – #ORIGINALSUPERSTAR campaign has just kicked off, starting an exciting year of activity for one of the most iconic shoes ever designed. The accompanying short film (directed by Karum Huu Do) features Pharrell, David Beckham, Rita Ora and Damian Lillard as they each divulge what it means to be a Superstar in 2015.

When the Superstar model was first launched by adidas back in 1969, the word ‘Superstar’ was unambiguous. Today, the word has been corrupted to the point of confusion. So this year, adidas Originals sets out to question what it means to be a superstar. The film will be accompanied by six shorter edits, including a 30 second version to launch Pharrell’s forthcoming Supercolor collection.
