The ADIDAS ORIGINALS VANGUARD COLLECTION sees the ZX FLUX and ZX TRAIL MID sport seriously stand-out colourways.

The ZX FLUX takes on a maritime theme – but with a difference. Inspired by the depths of the nautical seascape, the upper features a rare species print across the neoprene upper. Black taped seams add some contrast and create the outlines of the panels that we’ve become accustomed to. As if this wasn’t already a bold enough look, a glow-in-the-dark heel cage rounds things off up top (and might help with underwater visibility!). A white midsole adds some stark contrast, whilst red heel detailing adds some pop and an icy outsole ties in with the water-based theme. The ZX TRAIL MID, on the other hand, is inspired by the wilderness. The duck canvas and nappy suede upper sports a mix of earthy tones, with golden yellow detailing adding some extra zing. A mix of embroidered patches are spread across the upper (as a nod to scouts and survival enthusiasts) and give the shoe a very distinctive look. A creamy off-white midsole works well with the earthy tones of the upper, whilst a gum-coloured outsole rounds things off perfectly. Both of these are definitely unusual looks, and feature some very different details, but they work well.
