adidas PureBOOST X – Available Now

The ADIDAS PUREBOOST X is designed specifically with women in mind, in the hope of empowering female athletes.

In the past, women’s trainers have generally been an adaptation of the existing men’s version, but in the case of the PUREBOOST X it has been designed specifically for women, and takes into consideration what they demand from their active lifestyles. The result is a sporty-looking shoe that is high on both performance and style, which features a unique stretch mesh upper that wraps itself around the foot and creates a floating arch detail that goes underneath the mid-foot. The supportive upper sits on a BOOST midsole, for both comfort and impressive energy return, with a Stretch Web outsole rounding things off. The shoe will launch in a trio of colourways – Raw Purple and Shock Red, which is seen here, the stealthier Core Black and Shock Green, and the most feminine of the three, the floral patterned combination of Mineral Blue and Halo Pink. These may not be designed with us in mind, but we can still appreciate the concept and design.
