Refreshing an Icon: the adidas Rivalry Hi Boost

Never afraid to experiment, adidas puts a modern twist on a classic silhouette with the release of the ADIDAS RIVALRY HI BOOST: a contemporary remix that should endear itself to fans of the OG design.

adidas recently gave us a look at the upcoming retro of the classic Rivalry Hi in both the classic Knicks-themed colourway and a scaled-back black and white edition. So, with the OG fans taken care of properly, the adidas designers have taken the base shoe and enhanced it with the addition of BOOST cushioning for unparalleled comfort. To kick things off, there are two colourways: the first keeps it simple with white and pale neutral grey, whilst a slightly more vibrant addition adds pops of orange and yellow to the mix. This might be an update to the classic shoe, but there’s no questioning the design integrity: it’s clearly a worthy addition to the Rivalry legacy.
