We took a look at the adidas Torsion Allegra a week or so back, and the verdict was that we’re glad to see it back as a reissue. The Solebox and Consortium make ups really set the stage for a host of colourways, and after the recent Coral and Camo drops we’re now treated to another batch of Torsion goodness.

Things have been toned down a lot since the last orange and yellow neon statements and we’re now treated to some sensible colourways, that coupled with the shoes instantly recognisable structure and design make it real tricky for us to pick out our best. They’re all pretty sweet, and it’s a good look to see the womens colourways refraining from the patronising colour pallet, enough to leave it open for those of us lucky enough to register below the uk9.5 mark, to buy into some good looking shoes from the three striped camp.

The fact that the adidas Torsion Allega is in the ‘sub a ton’ bracket, makes them even more inviting. Some of the newer models are slightly different to the previous silhouette too, losing the sock like upper, which we’re not sure is such a great idea, but they still don’t look bad with the standard tongue offering. The rubber side cage is also swapped out for a material replacement, but all in all, you’ll not get any real complaints from us.

They’re definitely a worthy addition to your summer, everyday shoe rotation and are available now, via the link-through at the foot of the post.
