The ADIDAS TORSION ALLEGRA is one of our favourite additions to the three-stripe catalogue. After a slick reintroduction at the end of 2012, this model has quickly become a modern-day staple piece in the ADIDAS line-up – and with good reason. We’ve looked at the comfort and lightweight of this model in the past, so now it’s up to the colours to do the talking.

And why talk when you can shout? The colourways to date have been pretty nice, ranging from the low-key black and camo versions that we saw back in the spring through to these latest editions, catering for all tastes.

Whilst you could still stick these on for a run, they’re too good for purely practical requirements. The speckled midsoles, suede overlays on the uppers and the mesh panels all look as good as they function. The TORSION bar is firmly embedded into the sole as a little reminder that these were once up there with the most cutting-edge runners on the market.

The purple pair (that’s the Bliss/Light Maroon/Blast Purple colourway for all you detail fiends) are very smart, but it’s the green ones that do it for us (official colour code: St Tarnish/Forest/Real Green). These two new colourways of the ADIDAS TORSION ALLEGRA are available now, via the link-through below.
