Two of Japan’s most celebrated streetwear exports, BAPE and Neighborhood, have linked up with adidas for special versions of the POD-S3.1 and NMD STEALTH, which are transformed with what might be the first graphic edition of the POD, featuring BAPE’s iconic camo and Neighborhood’s trademark skull and crossbones motif merging to create one collaborative monochrome print. Strong iconography doesn’t stop there, however, as the BAPE Shark print takes to the medial side, with both brand text logos featuring prominently just below the lacebed. The NMD option takes a more muted approach across the laceless build, with more subtle shark-like graphics reaching down the sides in neon yellow and NHBD typography appearing on the toggled lace cover.
