The adidas Superstar is one of a handful of shoes that has stood the test of time without ever slipping: the original shelltoe silhouette still looks as good today as it did when it first dropped back in 1969. Since then, we’ve seen multiple editions, revisions, hybrids, and colourways since then, but this deluxe edition of the Superstar *0s takes things up a notch. With a focus on material selection and Japenese-inspired detailing, the uppers are constructed in an array of luxurious materials, from premium white leather through to colourful tartan and hairy suede. Sashiko-inspired overstitching adds an exclusive Japanese edge, while gold foil details – including custom END. branding on the sidewall – finish things off in appropriate style.
