After decorating the SOBAKOV and LACOMBE models in their trademark veg-tan leather finish back in April, Hender Scheme returns to adidas for another adventure in artisan footwear modification. This time they’re treading into new territory, moving away from the usual stripped back lifestyle models to take on a more tech-focused silhouette: the ZX 4000 4D. The Japanese brand easily translates the futuristic rehash of the original ZX 4000 from 1989 into their own language, adding their premium light veg-tanned leather across the shoe’s panelling, whilst the 4D midsole keeps tech and performance in check underfoot.
