Dynamic Ceramic: the adidas x Meissen ZX 10.000C Drops Tomorrow

The ADIDAS X MEISSEN ZX 10.000C unites two German icons for the next chapter of this year’s A-ZX series, this time staying local with neighbouring porcelain manufactory Meissen, who take the letter ‘M’ for their release.

Keeping things in line with Meissen’s world-renowned style of clean styled, hard-paste porcelain, this completely tonal all-white ZX 10.000C features a vibrant contrasting floral graphic across the vamp, quarter, and tongue sections of the design. Translucent eyelet cages and mesh add layers of depth to this exquisite piece of footwear. The usual branding is omitted, instead opting for a clean minimal look which follows the classic ceramicist approach: a simple Meissen stamp nods to the traditional marker’s mark found on the bases of finely-crafted ceramics. In celebration of this partnership, a 1-of-1 ZX 8000 crafted in porcelain and premium leather, dressed with hand-painted floral graphics, will be auctioned at Sotheby’s in New York City on the 16th December.
