ADIDAS ORIGINALS have teamed up with OFFSPRING to bring us the PATTERN PACK. Consisting of six shoes made up with two Superstar 80’s, a couple of ZX 800’s and a pair of ZX 8000’s, all in a vast array of materials and colour ways, the collaboration is set to drop at the beginning of September.
Mixing snake skins, navajo aztec prints, speckle, polka dots and monochrome contrasts, there isn’t much that could have been added to this collection. The materials are all on point and the execution is on the money, as we come to expect when adidas are behind the wheel of a collaboration.
Offspring top the hierarchy in the Office chain, and although boasting three of London’s finest go-to trainer stores in their Covent Garden, Camden and Selfridges Consession spots, are often overlooked online for some of the latest releases. However, since going back to the drawing board and recently launching a new and much improved website, they have resketched the blueprint for their virtual presence and updated their marketing strategy too, allowing for a fresh, new approach to take things forward. This, along with one or two impressive collaborations in the mix is certainly helping to move the retailer prominently back onto the radars and their latest joint project with one of the top three, really does have something for everyone.
The ADIDAS ORIGINAL X OFFSPRING PATTERN PACK is scheduled to drop at the beginning of September and as always we’ll have you linked through come that time. Until then, keep an eye out over the next few days as we’ll be previewing what could well be the best of the six pack – the ZX800 SNAKE.
