Approaching half a century in circulation, the Superstar has been slowly making its way back to the forefront, kicking things off with a collaboration with London personality Blondey at the end of last year. Now it looks like one of the silhouette’s biggest fans are about to get another tip of the hat, with a special Run-DMC edition of the shoe said to be in the works. It won’t be the first time that the brand and hip hop outfit have paired up on the model but this time it is said to be dropping in three colourways: black, white, and a mixture of both. Each feature prominent “SUPERSTAR” branding framed in the same style as the Run-DMC logo, with the late Jam Master Jay’s face taking pride and place on the tongue. The trio is most famously known for the rocking them laceless, and it looks like this collaboration may give wearers that option…
