Originally dropping in 1979 – a year before “The Empire Strikes Back” was originally released – the adidas Top Ten proved an instant hit on the basketball court thanks to its simple and functional design. This makes the perfect silhouette to celebrate the mysterious character that is Boba Fett, with little details down to the toe perforations reminiscent of the holes in his body armour used to breathe. The majority of the upper mirrors this armour is a trace green and greyish blue finish, whilst pops of red are reminiscent of the framing on his helmet. Distressed details on the leather reflect the damage his armour takes throughout the movie, with prints on the inside flap of the attached pocket expressing his iconic line: “You can run, but you’ll only die tired.” Along with the shoes, special packaging with a lace jewel is included, sure to be a hit with any Star Wars fan.
