Nike Go Back to Basics with the Air Jordan 1 Retro Royal

Nike takes us back to where their Air Jordan footwear legacy first began, revisiting the honoured debut model, the Air Jordan 1. Laying a foundation for many Air Jordan models to come, they were first seen worn on court by Michael Jordan in 1985, setting the spark for a footwear line that still holds just as much appeal over thirty years later.

Composed of a full-grain leather upper complete with the signature Swoosh and Wings logo, the Air Jordan 1 stakes its claim as the elemental Jordan model and returns in its original royal blue and black colourway. A cupsole with Air-Sole unit and flexible rubber outsole also ensure the ultimate in comfort and practicality, because after all, the Jordan has always been more than just a trainer…

A classic-Dunk style prototype that the tone for both the Air Jordan and basketball footwear that followed, they were last available to buy in 2013, so stay on your toes for these hitting the shelves over the coming weekend.
