ASICS Tiger Gel Respector OG Aster Purple and Black – Available Now

The ASICS TIGER GEL RESPECTOR OG ASTER PURPLE AND BLACK makes a welcome return 24 years after its original release.

Staying true to the original the off-white mesh base is overlaid by darker shades of grey to create a relatively neutral backdrop for the pop of ASTER PURPLE mesh on the side panels. Additional contrast is provided by the BLACK formstripes with yellow detailing. Further ASTER PURPLE details can be seen on the logos, top lace eyelet and at the top of the midsole. We also see the iconic sea-inspired ASICS waves, formed by two different rubber densities, which is a subtle nod to Kobe in Japan (the brand’s home). Rounding things off is a practical black outsole, which ties in with the TPU heel stabiliser and formstripes.
