Introduced way back in 1991, the Gel-Saga is named after the mythological Norse goddess of wisdom, Saga, which reflects the savvy and advanced technical features and aesthetic boasted by the silhouette in its heyday. Whilst technology may have moved on since then, the shoe remains a timeless classic of ASICS TIGER’s heritage line, returning this month in OG retro neon colourways for both men and women. The campaign makes a nostalgic nod to the brand’s Japanese roots, portraying some of the country’s most iconic gaming consoles during the ‘90s, including the Super Nintendo and SEGA Dreamcast.
