ASICS VALENTINES PACK

ASICS have a couple of releases due soon for the romantic trainer enthusiasts out there.

The VALENTINE’S PACK features two of ASICS’ most popular models; the GEL LYTE III and GEL LYTE V. The GLIII features an off-white and dark brown upper, which at first sounds like an unusual colourway for Valentine’s Day, but if you take a look at the design on the insole it all becomes clear… chocolates! The theme extends to the pattern on the tongue and ankle collar, resembling the decoration you sometimes see fancy chocolate you buy on the special day. A gum sole is used to finish off the shoe and works beautifully against the colours of the upper.

The more traditional choice of red is used on the GLV to good effect. A mix of materials and shades gives the shoe some life, which is enhanced by a floral pattern on the sock liner and a wrinkled material on the heel. Like the GLIII, the inspiration for the shoe is printed on the insoles, alongside the words ‘be mine’. Very sweet indeed!
