ASICS x AFFIX Gel-Kinsei OG

The ASICS X AFFIX GEL-KINSEI OG finds the radio show-turned-fashion label adopting their utilitarian approach for this special collaboration with ASICS.

Formed by designer Kiko Kostadinov, renowned stylist Stephen Mann, jack of all trades Taro Ray, and Gimme Five founder Michael Kopelman, AFFIX WORKS creates incredible workwear-inspired garments under the theme of ‘New Utility’. After a successful opening run , the label has joined forces with ASICS on these two colourways of the GEL-Kinsei: one of the more technical running designs from the ASICS catalogue. Influenced by hi-visibility outfits and uniforms, there’s a bright yellow pair for those of you who want to stand out from the crowd, along with a more discreet blue and black colourway. As this is a very technical shoe, there’s a lot to see across both pairs: embroidered ‘New-U’ branding, toggle laces, the I.G.S (Impact Guidance System) in the midsole and weight-reducing technology entitled TRUSSTIC, which reduces the overall weight but increases the durability of the outsole.
