The legendary ATMOS x NIKE AIR MAX 1 returns to the streets this weekend, after being voted back by the fans on Air Max Day 2016.

Since its original release back in 2007, the atmos Air Max 1 Elephant has become a highly revered shoe. After the resounding success of their first AM1 collaboration (which utilised the much-loved Safari pattern), the Japanese retailer took the classic Air Max 1 silhouette and then draped it in the Air Jordan III’s iconic elephant print, unleashing a collaboration design that would stand the test of time. The black and white base set things off properly, with the aforementioned elephant patterned mudguard, ankle and heel panels adding a special touch of detail that made it an unforgettable creation. To add a final zing of colour, the bright jade Swoosh and tongue branding finished things off perfectly. Voted as the design most people wanted to see return on Air Max Day 2016, Nike have honoured the request in time for Air Max Day 2017. Brace yourselves: this is going to be a popular one…
