Introducing premium footwear brand AUXILIARY, who pay homage to cultural designs that were ahead of their time in their debut collection, AUXILIARY VOL 1.

Footwear designer Matthew Taylor and Graeme Gaughan of Tourne de Transmission join forces to present AUXILIARY, a footwear brand that opts for a minimal and detail-focused design process inspired by music and technology. Manufactured in Portugal, the shoes are constructed from a re-engineered acoustic textile in place of canvas uppers, which sit atop a chunky sole achieved by combining a mix of grosgrain and premium leathers. Textured details on the heels mirror the “knurling” process, which is also used in the hi-fi world to apply a textured finished to knobs and dials on mixers and amps. A stunning debut, the VOL. 1 collection offers up a range of base colours such as black, white, grey, and pink for versatile wear.
