Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga brand is ready to present the release of its latest footwear model — the Balenciaga Triple S trainer. Described by the brand as a ‘visual composite’, this unusual design takes design details from three different sport disciplines – running, basketball and track & field – and merges them all together to create a unique stacked midsole formation. Designed to look deliberately worn-in, the Balenciaga logo has been embroidered into the side panels for maximum style points and to remind everyone who’s behind the ingenuity. Dropping in four colourways this season, we don’t doubt that these unusual sneakers are going to be very popular when they release this week: check back with us for future additions to the series in seasons to come.
